He holds an acting degree from the Federal Institute of Education of Cear\u00e1 and began his career in 1998 as an actor in the Dionisyos Theater Company. The same year, he founded Parque de Teatro, in which he developed community-based work with underserved youth in a rural area in his state, using the arts as a form of education.\u00a0 In 2005, he created the Artistic Collective As Travestidas, producing and directing <u>Uma Flor De Dama<\/u> (2005), <u>Cabare Da Dama<\/u> (2008),<u> Engenharia Er\u00f3tica \u2013 Fabrica de Travestis<\/u> (2012), <u>Br-Trans<\/u> (2013), <u>Cabare Das Travestidas<\/u> (2014) and <u>Qtmt \u2013 Quem Tem Medo De Travesti<\/u> (2015). The piece <u>BR-Trans<\/u> was named one of the ten best plays in 2015 by one of the most important newspapers in Brazil.
