Our season 2018-2019 has come to an end. It\u2019s been a fantastic journey to get here, and now we want to share some of the best moments you may have lived with us.<\/p>\n

FUNDarte\u2019s FY 2018-19 Season opened Saturday, October 6th, 2018 with the 4th edition of our International Festival of The Arts for Youth and Children, \u201cZunz\u00fan Children\u2019s Fest\u201d featuring music from Rita Rosa Ruesga (Cuba\/Miami), theatre performances El camino del bosque by Artefactus Cultural Project (Miami), Martina, The Little Roach by Teatro SEA (New York), and film T\u00edteres: Puppetry in the Caribbean, by Manuel A. Moran and Kristian Otero-Mor\u00e1n (New York\/Puerto Rico). These events were part of our Annual Series: Zunz\u00fan Children’s Fest.<\/a><\/p>\n

FUNDarte presented for the first time in Miami \u201cMendoza\u201d, a theater play by Los Colochos Teatro (Mexico), on October 11th & 12th, 2018 at Miami Dade County Auditorium. The internationally acclaimed and award winner play impressed the Miami audience. This event was part of our Annual Series: NO BORDERS<\/a><\/p>\n

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, \u00abOut in the Tropics\u00bb presented the premiere in Miami of Macho Man XXI, by Tania P\u00e9rez-Salas Dance Company (Mexico) on May 4th at 8:30p.m. & 5th at 3:00 p.m. at Mid-Stage at Miami Dade County Auditorium; I Am Made In Mexico by Astrid Hadad on Jun. 1st at 8:30 p.m. at The Colony Theater, Miami Beach; Literary Reading by writer Ernesto Fundora, about his anthology \u201cCuba Queer. 27 textos para el teatro. June 1, 2019 – 6:00 pm. at The Colony Theater, Miami Beach; The Last Bolero directed by Alberto Sarrain. Theater piece included in \u201cCuba Queer – 27 textos para el Teatro\u201d.
