Co-presented with Miami Light Project for more than 15 years, Global Cuba Fest is a highly anticipated series featuring the most popular and innovative artists from Cuba and across the Cuban diaspora. This year, we are pleased to announce the presence of Alain P\u00e9rez y La Orquesta<\/em>\u00a0on March 1st at 8:00 p.m. at the Miami Beach Bandshell.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n About the artist<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Bassist, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, Alain P\u00e9rez is one of Cuba\u2019s most active and versatile musicians on the international scene today. He has performed and recorded with jazz legends in various musical vernaculars, forming part of the original Chucho Vald\u00e9s Quartet that recorded on Blue Note Records, as the bassist of the renowned Paco de Luc\u00eda sextet, for the flamenco singer Enrique Morente, and was also part of the new Jerry Gonz\u00e1lez quartet. He is band leader and producer for numerous projects, including his own orchestral project.
