Flores celebrates the first 20 years of his career in this piece that is a metaphor for his life where he is accompanied by renowned musicians: cantaor David Lagos and guitarist Alfredo Lagos.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n About the artist<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Marco Flores <\/b>is a flamenco dancer and choreographer, recipient of the Premio Nacional de Flamenco, and the Premio Max, among other accolades. Recently, he has been honored with the Premio Godot 2024 for Best Male Dancer and the Specialized Critics’ Award 2025 at the Festival de Jerez. A free-style performer with a contemporary discourse in constant evolution, Flores stands out for his refined technique, musicality, and ability to connect with traditional flamenco while embracing influences from other dance disciplines, creating bold and dignified choreographies. His work explores themes such as femininity, intergenerational dialogue, queer identity, and the artist\u2019s intangible search. After co-producing shows with Manuel Li\u00f1\u00e1n, Olga Pericet, and Daniel Do\u00f1a, he founded his company, C\u00eda. Marco Flores, in 2010, premiering DeFlamencas at the Gran Teatro de C\u00f3rdoba and winning the Cr\u00edtica Especializada del Festival de Jerez award in 2012. Since then, he has produced more than twelve shows featuring prominent artists and directors like Carmela Greco, Olga Pericet, Jes\u00fas M\u00e9ndez, Francisco L\u00f3pez, and Juan Carlos L\u00e9rida. His recent productions include Rayuela (2020), Sota, Caballo y Reina (2021), Vengo Jondo (2022), and Tierra Virgen (2024).
