This year, we are pleased to announce the presence of Yusa &amp; Friends on March 21st at 8:00 p.m. at the Miami Beach Bandshell; accompanied by musicians from New Orleans: <strong>David Navarro<\/strong>, <strong>Marina Albero<\/strong>, and <strong>Martin Masakowski<\/strong>; and from Miami: <strong>Yissy Garc\u00eda<\/strong> and <strong>Roberto Vizca\u00edno.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In Yusa&#8217;s music, we are all travelers. Each song follows an invisible thread\u2014one that binds memory, rhythm, doubt, love, and becoming. Her voice does not rush toward destinations; it walks with intention, attentive to each step, each silence, each turn of the road. The thread may twist, but it never breaks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now based in New Orleans, Yusa brings Havana&#8217;s original sound to Miami Beach in a perfect triangle of traditions and cultural backgrounds where Cuban and American heritage meet. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">World of Rhythms<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> promises an extraordinary night of exceptional musicianship as Yusa and her talented friends create music that knows no borders\u2014traversing from jazz to cha-cha-ch\u00e1, from blues to timba.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rooted in Cuba yet open to the world, Yusa weaves jazz, song, poetry, and everyday life into music that feels deeply lived. Born and raised in Havana, she has released a celebrated body of work that includes Yusa, Breathe, and Haiku, earning major recognition such as a Cubadisco Award and nominations from the BBC Radio 3 World Music Awards. A key member of the influential Cuban collective Interactivo, Yusa now resides in New Orleans, where she continues to collaborate internationally while expanding the reach of Cuban music worldwide.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI feel a deep respect for my roots and traditions, but I\u2019m also a musician of this time.
