Festival Infantil de ZunZún 2021

FUNDarte y el Auditorio del Condado de Miami-Dade presentan la 7ª edición del ZunZún Children’s Fest, con un festival de doble cartelera con Mi vida popular por Nallely Ponce y Insectos y Bicharracos por Rita Rosa Ruesga el sábado 2 de octubre de 2021 a las 14:00 horas en el Miami Dade County Auditorium (2901 W Flagler St, Miami, FL 33135).

Mi vida folclórica.org por Nallely Ponce,presentando Bailes tradicionales regionales mexicanos con el Ballet Folklórico Azteca acompañado por el Mariachi Voces de América, un espectáculo prehispánico azteca presentado por ‘Tloke Nahuake’ y una aparición especial de las Catrinas ‘Mariposa y Arco Iris’ de la Red de Títeres de la celebración del Día de los Muertos.

 

Insectos y Bicharracos es una obra de Teatro Musical, inspirada en el disco del mismo nombre, producida por Rita Rosa Ruesga. La reconocida cantautora estará acompañada por su banda de músicos locales, para contar esta historia llena de color y ritmos caribeños, con el vestuario y la escenografía de Celia Ledón, la dirección artística de Eddy Díaz Souza, y la producción general de FUNDarte.

Esta obra cuenta con la participación de Luis Manuel Álvarez, Javier Fano, Oneysis Valido, Nirma Del Río, Rachel Pastor y Leandro Peraza, (Actores); Odalis Cardona, Lennon Ruiz, Edward Magdariaga y María Consuelo Hernández (Músicos); William Ruiz (Asistente de Dirección y Producción); Richard Rodríguez (Diseño de Iluminación); y Marcos Menéndez (Diseños Gráfico y Visual).

Sinopsis: Rosa ha horneado una deliciosa tarta para celebrar con sus amigos la limpieza del patio. Músicos e insectos han sido invitados a la fiesta, pero … la tarta ha desaparecido. La investigación servirá para escuchar (y también bailar) una selección de canciones que pueden dar pistas para encontrar al culpable. ¿Te atreves a ayudar a encontrarlo? Únase a nosotros para disfrutar de un fin de semana lleno de actividades divertidas, talleres y actuaciones espectaculares.

ZunZún Children’s Fest celebrates timely programming for families and young audiences through an array of bilingual musical and theatrical projects by local artists that encourage the appreciation of the culture and the values of “Hispanidad”. Don’t miss this commemoration of the cultural heritage of Latin American, the Caribbean, and the world’s Latin musical legacies, which celebrate childhood and bring joy to the whole family.

About the Artists:

 

Rita Rosa Ruesga is a four-time Grammy award nominee who has impacted over 10,000 children with her Afro-Caribbean and Latin American musical projects for young audiences in Cuba, Mexico, Bolivia, Puerto Rico, Germany, Sweden, Panama, and the USA. Rita has produced several recordings of children’s music, for which she has received international acclaim, and has worked with such renowned artists as Celia Cruz and Ricky Martin, as well as many others. Rita holds a degree in Choral Conducting from the National Art School of Havana and has written 3 children’s books published by Scholastic Books. More information: https://www.ritarosa.com/

 

 

My Folk Life directed by philanthropist Nallely Ponce encourages the appreciation and preservation of Latino cultural heritage. Celebrating Mexican traditions with children and families by taking them through a journey of Mexico, showcasing the colorful folkloric dances with their traditional beautiful attire ‘trajes tradicionales’ and festive Mariachi music.
