FUNDarte presents ZunZún Children’s Fest 2023 on October 7th, 2023, at the Miami-Dade County Auditorium featuring Miedo come todo… Sueños al vuelo by Flores TeatroDanza.
The ZunZún Children’s Festival celebrates annually with the family and the youngest audiences a varied program of bilingual projects that brings together local and visiting artists to promote the appreciation of universal culture and the values of “Hispanidad”.
About the show
Miedo come todo… Sueños al vuelo is a performance that uses the language of contemporary dance in its search for dialogue with the little ones. A bet on living and tangible relationships, on visual stimuli that make the imagination fly, a half-told story with unrecognizable characters that each kid can finish shaping. A definitive invitation to say No! To fear and let dreams fly.
7:00 p.m. at the On.Stage Black Box at the Miami-Dade County Auditorium

About the artists
Flores TeatroDanza is a company co-directed by Fernando Leija and Alejandro Chávez. It results from a collaboration that has been carried out since 2012.
They navigate between dance and theater, seeking to encompass the body in its totality. They are characterized by giving great importance to the aesthetic quality of their works through detailed work and the use of objects to create visual metaphors that remain engraved in the spectator’s memory.
The company has a strong sense of searching for the surroundings with the spectator, leading them to unimaginable experiences in everyday places. Driven by this interest, their works have been presented in asylums, low-income colonies, migrant centers, galleries, private homes, and public spaces.
