US Premiere of Sharing Grandmother, a new, original multidisciplinary piece that features two female artists– one from Africa

(LORNOAR / Cameron) and one from the African Diaspora (Inez Barlatier / Miami) – whoare composers, musicians, storytellers, and dancers, as well as treasure-keepers of traditional Black cultures.

The US Premiere of Sharing Grandmothers also celebrates, nurture and expand creative opportunities and global visibility for Miami-based artists as part of the International Cultural Partnership Program of Miami-Dade County Cultural Affairs Department. This project is produced by FUNDarte as part of NO BORDERS, and is supported by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation’s Knight Arts Challenge 2020, which funds the best ideas for the arts in Miami. Presented with Miami-Dade County Auditorium.
