ZunZún Children’s Fest 11th Anniversary!

The ZunZún Children’s Festival celebrates annually with the family and the youngest audiences a varied program of bilingual projects that brings together local and visiting artists to promote the appreciation of universal culture and the values of “Hispanidad”. This year we celebrate its 11th anniversary with a double bill event featuring:

Jirafas World Premiere by Rita Rosa Ruesga (Miami) and Miami artists

Recently this year, Giraffes has been nominated for Best Children’s Album for Latin Grammy Award!

Three small giraffes—elegant and graceful—embark on a journey in search of the moon. During their travels, they will meet new friends who will guide them to their destination. Amidst challenges, surprises, and valuable lessons, their necks will grow… for a lifetime. In the end, they will discover that behind every dream one wishes to achieve, there lies a wonderful world waiting to be discovered.

La Familia Zarigüeya, a una sola voz by Maria del Sol y CantaClaro (Colombia)

A fun and tender story that shows us how each family member plays an important role. Because with teamwork, love, and a little patience, togetherness can be as delicious as a freshly baked recipe! A story to tell, sing, dance, and cuddle with as a family.

Intermission: Creative Stage Productions

Creative Stage Productions is a theater company founded in Miami in 2017 by Colombian actress Catalina Arenas. It is dedicated to the creation of theatrical performances, cultural and educational activities, and special presentations for private events, with an emphasis on children’s audiences.

Its mission is to cultivate, through the arts, a playful perspective on life and to nurture happiness by reconnecting with the inner child.

Its vision is to promote the arts as a powerful mirror where life offers multiple possibilities, and the reflection can change if the spectator looks from a different perspective.

Creative Stage Productions aspires to transform any type of information or general need into an artistic language, as they believe that theater is a powerful communication strategy.
