“FUNDarte’s 2020-21 Season opened on Sunday, October 11th, 2020 with the 6th edition of our International Festival of The Arts for Youth and Children, “ZunZún Children’s Fest” featuring a virtual presentation and book launch of Color Caribe, a downloadable songbook illustrated by renowned Hispanics and Caribbean artists, and the premiere of three digital workshops for children.

Fundarte’s social media presented ZunZún Children’s Fest 2020 (virtual edition), a project that included the participation of some thirty artists from Spain Latin America, and the Caribbean.

FUNDarte is a multidisciplinary non-profit organization dedicated to producing, presenting, and promoting music, theater, dance, film and visual arts that speak to Miami’s diverse cultures with an emphasis on Hispanic arts and culture. FUNDarte particularly works to nurture emerging artists and those with little or no exposure to South Florida audiences; facilitate intercultural and international exchanges; and provide local audiences and artists with educational opportunities that expand their creative, critical and social perspectives.

Financial and administrative support for FUNDarte’s 2020-21 series is provided in part by Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and the Mayor and Board of County Commissioners; State of Florida Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs, and the Florida Arts Council; the National Endowment for the Arts; the City of Miami Beach Cultural Affairs Program, Cultural Arts Council, and the Miami Beach Mayor and City Commissioners; South Arts; PIKITIN; and ZunZún Arts and Education.
